| DANIEL D. LEVENSON | Timothy D. Stein is a principal at Lourie & Cutler, and its managing partner. His primary expertise is in the areas of income, estate and gift taxation. Within those areas, Tim has significant experience in advising high net worth individuals regarding sophisticated tax planning matters. He has a depth of knowledge regarding the international income and estate tax planning matters. In addition, Tim practices extensively in the area of international and domestic asset protection planning, including the establishment of both offshore and domestic trusts. Another primary focus of Tim's practice is business planning and corporate transactional work. Tim's clients enjoy the benefits of his broad experience and technical expertise in areas of partnership, corporate taxation, mergers, acquisitions and other reorganizations. Tim graduated from Harvard Law School in 1983, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley (with distinction) in 1980, Phi Beta Kappa.
